Myla's birthday and Meadow stats

Meadow just had a well child check up at the doctor's office. She appears to be growing well physically and socially. She is now 31 inches tall and in the 25th percentile, which is very impressive for her because she has not even been on the charts for the past six months or more. She weighs 20.4 pounds-5th percentile and her head circumference is in the 10th percentile. It is looking like Meadow might actually be taller than me someday. She is really becoming a little comedian as well as a track sprinter. She loves to run daily laps around our couch or run pretty much anywhere we go. Today when I went to get her out of her crib after waking up, she said "day" and signed it as well. She is really picking up a lot of words and continues to learn how to sign. She has also really started to imitate a lot of things in her play, including putting her dolls and babies to bed, cooking with her kitchen set, and wiping up pretend messes. It is really fun to watch her growing personality. Just had to do a quick recap for those who haven't seen her in awhile.

This past weekend we headed over to our cousin Myla's 2nd birthday in Portland. Here are some pics from the event.

All the kids loved these balloons. Myla did a great job of sharing her toys and balloons for most of the evening. Meadow really wanted to take all of Myla's toys and balloons home with her, especially her rocking chair. Wouldn't it be comical if you could just take whatever you wanted home from friend's houses?

The girls watching the Wubbena's leave. They were both waving goodbye.
