Nate and Rachel's Wedding Part I

We have had a very busy past week and a half. We got back late this past Friday night from our trip to NY, and went to one of Meadow's friends birthday parties on Saturday, and then had Meadow's birthday party on Sunday. pheeeeewwww. Now, I have some time to sit down and reflect on all the fun things we were able to do this past week. My brother's wedding was amazing and it was so good to see so many family members that I haven't seen in ages. Meadow was such a trooper and did so well while we were traveling. She was still suffering from a stomach bug when we got to NY, so she had a little bit less energy at first, but it didn't keep her down for long. She did an amazing job as a flower girl, which I am sure will be remembered for many years to come. These set of pictures highlight our first day up in the adirondacks and the wedding rehearsal. We stayed at the North Woods Inn, which is past Old Forge and before Inlet. It was such a beautiful setting for the wedding and the weather turned out great.

This was our room, which looked out on 4th Lake.
The balcony with all the adirondack chairs.

Before the rehearsal we went on a hike with most of the bridal party and their families.

Rachel and her sister Rebecca. They refer to each other as "wombmates" because they shared the womb for nine months. They are such a riot together.

The Bridesmaids and two of the mini bridal party.
Meadow with the ringbearer Lex. They were so unbelievably cute as you can tell from the next few pictures.

Practicing walking down the aisle.

They probably did this walk through at least ten times. This was probably why they did such an excellent job the next day. The other little flower girl joined them the day of the wedding. I think it also helped they were all 2. Well, Meadow technically was going to be 2 in a week, but they were all pretty close in age.

Oh my goodness. All these photos are so great! Meadow looked absolutely adorable. Your new sis-in-law looks so cool and she and Nate look so great together. I hope you are recovering from all your travels. You look beautiful. The pic of you, Todd, Meadow, and boy Van Hee in the belly on the hike was way too cute!
